I assembled the cage with my 6 and 9 year old boys, which they enjoyed - we watched the "how to assemble video" on the web and followed the plans within the assembly manual. They assembled about two thirds of the cage, with me checking instructions and doing a little. I also purchased the tall stand and most of the optional accessories, which were also fitted. My 6 year old built the stand, which is nice and solid. I was a little worried of how well the two budgies would take to the new cage. To my surprise they were suddenly much more active and social. They do fly short distances within the cage and seem very content. I had seen all the debate around people not liking round cages, but this is a big cage and the birds have definitely taken to it. They like flying around the room and returning to the sides of the cage, eventually returning within. The feeder and drinks are well thought out, remaining clean. The doors are securely closed and can't be tampered by the birds intent on playing. The dirt stays within the cage, which is a pleasant change from the traditional cages with their "debris splatter zone". Despite the round design, the bars are a standard width and can easily accommodate the usual 3rd party perches, toys, food treats, etc. I like the night cover for the cage, which helps prevent late night activities from impacting the birds too much. The bath and mirror seems to be their current favourite spot to hang out. Not so much playing with the mirror, but just resting around and within the dry bath. Overall the birds are happy, they are definitely more active and are enjoying the environment. The fact that the perches swing adds a little more dynamic to the birds, who seem to like this. There is ample room within the cage for the birds to hang out together or take time to themselves. The cage also looks very good and is easy to clean.

This works well to make a free range exercise area. It is nice to sit in with the ducks and spend quality time! It does take quite a while to work out how to set it up but lay out all the pieces and check that you have everything before you start to put the fence up. It is not predator proof so i would not leave my ducks in it un -supervised. As it does not have a cover just be aware of magpies or cats jumping in. It is a really useful extension exercise area especially if you can't have your birds or animals completely free range because of predators. I lost several ducks to a fox attack so am quite protective of them and so very happy with this product. It is attached to the walk in and the birds are very happy.

The outdoor pen run works really well as a safe play area for my ducks. The roof keeps predators off so that we can all relax. Sturdy wire and fox proof.

I use two of these covers for my eglu go up to give the girls shelter from the rain. They are better than those designed for the ‘ up’ because they are a lot longer. They do the job well but could still do with being longer so that one area could be completely covered to provide shelter from wind and rain..I’s difficult to comment on how useful these would be for the cube.....Suffice to say that it would offer reasonable protection for the top but a lot of the sides would still be open. A choice of longer and shorter ones would be brilliant....so you could mix and match. P.S ......the eglu go up is fantastic!

Product arrived on time and easy to put up. Chickens love it!

The coop is perfect for my three Buff Orpington hens. It looks great, easy to clean and they have the security they need. Plus it's easy to move about too. I have to say the customer service is wonderful as I had some issues with the frame. That being said it was quickly replaced and all went smooth from there. I look forward to purchasing more great additions for the coop in the future.

Having areas that are not flat in my yard the screw pegs work great to hold the skirt in tack. Makes the Omlet Eglu Up even more secure from any pesky critters trying to get underneath.

While these are pricey, I just ordered two more. I have two green ones that I just put on yesterday (very easy to install) and just ordered one more green one and a clear to completely cover my secure run. They seem like they will last years and if the "gutters" help a little then that is great. I have been happy with all Omelet products I have ordered.

As advertised, this is an easy to assemble, easy to use/reuse chicken fence. The only criticism I might have is that the instruction manual could have larger and clearer pictures, but a few minutes of tinkering with the pieces will get you where you need to go.

There is no doubt that unusual, yet beautiful appearances will arouse interest for the public to immediately respond just to be noticed. Enter the Geodesic dome like cage! I love it!... but does it matter with the birds? As long as the birds are well fed and safe from harm, appearance is immaterial. People will not accept a cage that will not blend with the interior decor of their home. We live in a colorful world and beautiful colors is the spice of life! So be it! OMLET has proven to the world that people will be happy with a fresh new look for avians to enjoy. Thank you.....keep on creating new ideas!
