If you have underfloor mesh on your current run and would like it for the new sections as well, you will find underfloor rabbit run mesh here. One underfloor panel corresponds to 1 width and 1 length section of the enclosure.

Please note that we are currently sending out two types of underfloor mesh, so there is a possibility you might receive mesh that looks different from what you currently have. This will not affect the structure of the run or the way your pets use it. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team.

Roof gaps are too big- not safe from small predators!! - Claire, CORNWALL,

We’ve just bought the lower height walk in rabbit run. It looks great up, and loads of space for the bunnies. Only one moan…and it’s a big one. Why oh why is the roof wire larger spaced than the 4 sides??? It is not safe from predators as we recently experienced In a previous run where a pole cat (similar to a ferret) got in and killed our bunny. It was for this reason we wanted to invest in a safer better built option, only to find the roof created the same problem and therefore defeats the object of the purchase. Yes yes we can by extra wire/covers etc but at a premium making the run even more expensive than it already was. Why Omlet do you not use the same size gaps for the roof as you do the sides????

Omlet Says: Hi Claire, Thank you for your feedback. At the moment, this difference of size between the top and the bottom panels of the run is necessary for structural safety reasons. However, we understand your concern, and the safety of your pets will always be our priority, which is why your feedback has been passed onto our Product Design team and it will be reviewed for future improvements. We remain at your disposal for any further information. Yours, The Omlet Customer Services team

Outdoor rabbit run review - Holly,

I’ve had my run several years now and there are good and bad points. Firstly the bad things, the plastic clips are a waste of time, they ping off and snap all the time leaving holes in the pen for rabbits to escape through. They are not weather proof and degrade in about 6 months. I’ve got fed up of replacing them all the time so I now use heavy duty cable ties that work much better. Because its so heavy and only held together by clips it is really difficult to move without breaking it. This means that once the grass has been eaten you can’t move your rabbits on to fresh grass. Additionally, the mesh floor is not really suitable for rabbits as they can’t run easily on it and they don’t lie flat on uneven grass creating a trip hazard. I removed them and use the predator skirting pegged down. On the good side the modular design is brilliant, being able to expand the run and link up tunnels and hutches makes it fantastic. Also the coated metal really is weather proof and is still in great condition after being outside permanently for 3 years. I haven’t found anything comparable on the market. Yes it is expensive but it is vastly superior to the cheap chicken wire and wood rubbish from standard pets at home type places, and we have not had any issues with foxes getting in. They have tried and failed to get inside the run. I’m about to extend mine and put in a semi-permanent base, but I’ll be using cable ties to put it together!

Omlet Says: Hi Holly, Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that you overall enjoy the design of your Walk-In run and that it successfully kept your rabbits safe so far. These runs have indeed not been designed to be moved often, as they are large structures weighing from 40kg. We would not recommend moving them too often as this can result in straining the clips leading to a premature breakage. Nevertheless, we always welcome feedback and we recorded your comments for future improvements. Yours, The Omlet Customer Services team

Just don't information... - Kerry-Jayne,

We bought the 15ft version of the rabbit pen and even though I'm not usually one to leave reviews I feel like I have to with this product so let's start from the beginning... You will need at least 2 people to put this run together and it took two of us just over a day to do it. The instructions are as clear as mud and the clips are fiddly and mischievous. You will need one person holding the each end to make them clip in which resorts in sore fingers! The product appears to be quite flimsy which I was surprised about, especially with the amount that it cost and I'm not totally convinced that the mesh is galvanised (we live in a coastal area so this is obviously very important to us and we double checked with customer service first who confirmed this). The poles could do with having spring clips on them to stop them constantly coming out. We had to tye baling twine around them just to keep them in place because as soon as we put them in, they popped back out again. Lastly... when you pay just under a grand for an item I would have thought that free delivery was a given but we still had another £35 on top of that in order to get it to us. The run is now up but our rabbits cannot go in it until the grass grows through the floor mesh as I'm pretty convinced that they will easily get something stuck and potentially brake something as the holes are quite big. I'm hopeful that this run will last more than a few years and I am excited to get my rabbits into it and to be able to run free as I would say that it is pretty predator proof.

Omlet Says: Hi Kerry-Jayne, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Your comments have been passed on to our Product Design team and they will be reviewed for future improvements. Once assembled, our Walk-In runs should be very sturdy. As you highlighted it in your review, the clips holding the panels onto each other are also very strong. If they are too difficult to close when you receive them, one tip is to immerse them in warm water to make them a bit softer and easier to work with. The clips should not come out constantly like you described. Feel free to send us some pictures of your setup by email so that we can try to understand why this is happening. The design of the floor mesh has been designed so that your rabbit's feet should not get hurt, and so far, we have not heard of rabbits hurting their feet due to the mesh. We are confident that your Omlet run will last more than a few years, and should you experience any issues or difficulties please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or by email. Great quality product. - Andrea,

I bought the outdoor rabbit run approximately five months ago. My rabbit had an open run for years and I then saw a fox in my garden one morning. I had looked at these runs from Omlet a while ago and thought now is the time to possibly bye one. So I purchased the basic run with an extension so he had a similar amount of space to what he had before. This run has a roof which has given me huge peace in my mind for my rabbit's safety if any predators are about. It is built with high quality metal poles and mesh that slot together and it was very easy to assemble on my own. It is also a great idea that if, in the future you want to extend the run, you can just add more to it. The price reflects the quality of the product, but I believe the well being of your pet is always worth going the extra mile for. I can now hang broccolli and cabbage hearts to keep them away from slugs etc. The door catch is very good and you can secure it from the inside of the run too. Very pleased I purchased this run. Customer service are very accommodating, helpful and polite if you have any problems or questions. Thank you Omlet.
