This is the third coop that I have bought. All were highly rated and comparable in cost, but the Omlet is by far the best. It’s easy to assemble and clean, well designed and of a good quality. The feeder and water bowl are simple but of a good practical design. The only drawbacks is that plastic coop floor and the metal ladder are a little slippery for the chickens, and the coop lets in very little light. Good if you’re trying to keep the crowing down (if you’ve got a gent) but tough when you’re trying to coax the hens in at night. However, you can easily remedy tHis by putting a small battery operated pick light and using self adhesive grit tape on the stairs.

I have had two of these for the last 8 years and they are still going strong. I decided to expand my flock of ex bats, so decided to invest in another Eglu Go. It was easy to put together although I did manage to screw the brackets on from the wrong side and then wonderer why they kept falling out! Of course clever clogs husband came to the rescue and pointed out my mistake. It is just as sturdy and smart looking as the other two and I am very happy with it - and so are the hens. They are easy to clean out each day and it only takes me about 10 to 15 minutes to do all three including poop scooping, wiping with diluted disinfectant and refreshing bedding.

It is a very very good product and quite unique on the market. We used it to connect a small henhouse and a connected run to a supposedly large rabbit hutch as we felt no hutch available was actually enough space for a rabbit to be locked up in overnight. Our bunnie loves it. When we open all the doors to let her free she runs the whole length of the the 2 hutches in one end, through the tunnel and out the other very fast and binkies. She also goes in it and rests, she probably finds it cosy as it’s like a proper warren. I do feel it was expensive for what it was though and could benefit from a door at both ends so we could remove it and put one hutch in the shed over winter and still have a secure outdoor hutch outside in the day in winter (ie without a tunnel or hole that goes nowhere) of course we could buy another door kit but the products are very expensive. As once you’ve fitted it that’s it, the hole you cut is there forever.

My first foray into chicken keeping, I was bedazzled by the array of hen houses available to me. I loved the traditional appearance of the wooden coops and it was a chance conversation with a relative who that made me decide on Omlet. A little space age in appearance, so soon got used to it and it blends in well. But that all cosmetic! The benefits: Easy to set up Very secure, with each component fitting perfectly Easy to keep clean Easy to move Designed to minimise the risk of parasite infestation I’m delighted with the coop and the hens love it too! They put themselves to bed as the sun goes down and all I need to do is shut the door! It’s carefully engineered to be safe, comfortable, both warm and cool, hygienic and easy to maintain. A very well made product.

A must have for moving your Omlet coop & run about and easy enough for me to handle on my own. Our hens love the access to fresh grass and we appreciate that our lawn doesn't get destroyed!

The door is great. It’s set for morning and evening and they are safe in the coop for the night without me having to run down to the barn to close them up.

This is a great, secure enclosure for the cats!. They love having outside access, and it's big enough we can hang out with them. We are not a handy family but had little trouble with assembly, though the format of the instruction booklet took some getting used to. The clippies that secure the pieces have enough give to make them easy to fit together, but not so much that they're an escape hazard. Our one innovation was wiring the top and bottom doors together so they swing as a unit.

Great chicken coop which I easy to build and once in use easy to use and clean. The chickens love climbing stairs and sleeping inside the house.

We decided to get the Eglu Cube after our wooden coop got redmite. We had read that a product like the Cube could help reduce the issues we had. Since we have had the Cube, we have not had a single issue with redmite. I really like the design and practicality of the Cube which was easy to construct and it is so easy to maintain and clean. We have the automatic door from Omlet too which makes life so much easier when it comes to the chickens going to roost and getting up in the morning. I can't praise the Cube enough and our chickens love it too.

My first Lenham lasted twenty years - I've just bought my second and it looks every bit as solid. I'm sure my hens will be just as happy in their new home!
