after owning a traditional wooden coop I have found the Eglu to be fantastic! there is no "wood swelling" to contend with which means no struggling with swollen doors. it is so easy to clean and access. the build quality is great with really substantial components. my chickens are very happy with their new home as am I! I would never hesitate with an Eglu!

The product is brilliant especially in the what seems to be new "hurricane" season we're experiencing, the girls are very happy to have somewhere to shelter from the winds! The reason I gave it 4 stars was I cant find wind break for the go up, so there's an idea for you

I recently purchased a cat run & with it a roof cover & side covers. I would highly recommend if your purchasing a cat run you buy this. High quality & well designed.

One improvement which could be incorporated is a triangular piece of plastic moulding easily attached to the coop floor to contain the shavings/straw within the egg laying area. Also it might contain a superficial bubble which could be used initially to stop the hens sitting on the nest box overnight. Then removed once they have learnt to roost on the roosting area. Don't know why we didn't buy one of these years ago. A good price and it just gives our three hens a little more rain/sun protection

Easy to assemble. We placed the run around a tree so the cat had a scratching and climbing pole. Has been much admired by visitors and the cats are happy to play for hours.

A fantastic replacement for the old wooden ones I had

l have purchased the purple Eglu Go Up and l have been very pleased with it so much so l have just ordered another one. no complaints about it all. Im not so thrilled with the feeder as l have difficulty with putting the lid on then l cant get it off easily for cleaning. also the hens have trouble feeding from it unless it is very full once the level drops they start to have difficulty feeding.

I bought one of these between 4 - 5 years ago, and cleanning out the chickens today I thought I'd come and express in a review how enduringly happy I am with the quality of this product. 5 years on and it has not aged one bit! The bungee elastics as still stretchy and strong, the plastic hooks are all still undamaged, the plastic sheet cover is still completely intact, undamaged and flexible in spite of regular cleaning and pokes with branches from the nearby jasmine bush! Really fabulous! In an age when nothing seems to last more than a few months without needing replacement,, how refreshing to have something that lasts like this.

I use this cover to protect my chickens from the elements both in the winter and summer. Ideally I need a cover which is rectangular at least a metre wide and 2 metres in length. The Classic fulfils most of the requirement albeit tapering at one end as it is originally designed for the Eglu Model Classic, mine is the larger cube model.
