The frame just gives that extra space for the chickens. Mine like the shade and use the drier area for their dust bath. Well worth it for piece of mind and extra space.

I have four rabbits, we live in the countryside on a farm. There are foxes galore here. I decided to buy this run for two of my rabbits as there was a hundred pounds off the price of a run for a month. I decided the other two rabbits would be ok in the better of my present two runs(this is almost new and in good condition). However when I took delivery of my omlet run and realised how superior it was I had to buy another one so they could all have a new run. Very easy to assemble, I can get in and out of it to get the rabbits in the evening and best of all they are safe from foxes and dogs on the ground and buzzards in the sky! I am thrilled with both my new runs and would definitely recommend them to friends.

wanted this item to give shade to my chicks. This product does eactly that and was easy to put up and can easily be moved if needed. Will probably take it down in winter and it will store and be ready for next year. A good quality product.

I had the original green set and, at the time, wished that they were clear as I mainly use them in the winter when the chooks need more light. So I was very pleased to discover these ones. The only drawback (also with the green set) is that they're not quite long enough - there are always gaps on the corners where they don't meet, which is an issue where I live as it can blow a gale sometimes, bringing in rain and snow. OMLET: A complete single wrap-around version would be ideal, otherwise each cover really needs to be customised to fit better.

The first great thing about this cover is that it actually fits the whole length of the 2m run, which none of the other covers did before. This means that I no longer have to mess about piecing together numerous covers to get all-over coverage. The second thing is obviously the built-in shaded side, so again no more mixing and matching covers. What is handy is that there is an extra bungee hole at each end in the middle (where the clear and green sections meet) - for normal use these are not needed, but if you secure these with bungees, it then enables you to fold back the clear section on really hot days for extra ventilation, without the whole cover sliding off. A nice-to-have would be extra bungee holes midway along each side to prevent the sides flapping in the breeze. But I can live with that as it's such a great cover and solves so many problems!

14 large boxes from the courier 8 of them being for the walk in run.I was left perplexed at where to start but after a string espresso got to grips with the excellent box numbering and was able to start with some degree of confidence.Got the bottom section erected within 4 hours and whilst looking and feeling flimsy I got some neighbours to help me lift it into place so that it could be attached to the Eglu Cube.I got on with the upper section the following day and was able to do this section by myself ( the netting clips and pole clips being quite easy to snap on although there were hundreds of them) again this took about 4 hours to erect including the sorting of the parts from the boxes.It was not until a few days later that the roof panels were installed and I had to have assistance initially to hold them in place whilst they were partly clipped.I finshed off the whole of the clipping at me leisure.The Eglu Cube with it's 2 metre run and the 3x4x2 walk in run look great and I have received many good comments of it's looks and stabilty.

We received 6 boxes for the Chicken run and at first felt a bit daunted by the contents of the boxes - but putting the run together was easy and the instructions were brilliant! it looks great and feels really safe - in fact we have had a fox sniffing round the Eglu house and run and so far we have foiled him! I think it would only be human error that would let him get at our chooks!

The cube was easy to erect with its construction being expertly explained through the manual instructions.I have bought 6 hens (although it will take 10 comfortably) and it did'nt take them long to master the ladder access to the house with some stepping up all the way and some partly flying up to the entrance door.Everything is easy to access whether you are gathering eggs,cleaning out the waste or just checking on the hens with the ease of the sliding roof.The run is a good height to allow access into replenishing the food and water supplies.Overall both my hens and I are very satisfied with the purchase of the cube.

Delivered to France with great help from Omlet to check the delivery status and arrival time. Looks neat and tidy and the chickens are happy and safe. I would highly recommend this product.
