We are new to hen keeping and decided to invest in a cube with 3m run. It is fantastic! Easy to put together (take your time to read and do it following the directions) super simple to clean. The only modification I have made is to add tree rounds under the ladder as steps up so the hens can step up to the ladder instead of jumping. It did take the hens a few days to get use to the ladder as at first they were slipping off it. Happy hens! Thanks Omlet!

Overall, this is a good product, but for the very expensive price tag, it needs some improvements. The hutch itself is fairly easy to construct and seems robust; access through the back door is great. It is staying cool inside during this warm weather so that is reassuring. However, I feel the hutch could do with a kind of protuding 'lip' at the top and front to offer more rain protection at the point where our guinea pigs exit it into the run; it would really benefit from an overhang. We bought the 2 meter run which is VERY big and so an excellent feature, however, it was incredibly fiddly to construct and I had very sore thumbs and fingers after clipping it all together. I akso found the panels that go along the top side do not fit well and so I had to bend them quite a bit to get a good fit. I also feel the corkscrew pegs ( that I had to buy separately) should come included, as there are ESSENTIAL to keeping the run predator-proof. So although I would recommend the Eglu Go Hutch and 2 meter run, it needs Omlet to 'tweak' it.

My hens love their cube, and I love the ease with which I can keep it clean for them. Much easier than their old wooden henhouse.

These are the best screw pegs I have ever owned! I have had hours of enjoyment with these pegs and would recommend them to anyone looking for screw pegs. - Super!!

Does the job well. Combined with the shade included with the Eglu, most of the run +1m extension is kept dry. Would have been 5 stars if not for the fact that as with most Omlet products it does seem a bit pricey.

Initially sent without the clips, but a set of clips was sent out promptly when reported.

The material is a lot thicker than the standard shade - well worth the money as it also stops the rain.

So glad I went for this size (6x9) it is so spacious and a delight to sit in with the chooks even on a rainy day. The girls got very spooked when it was being built so after it was finished I took a chair in and had the four of them fall asleep on my lap and on their gang hut (converted kennel), (photos to follow). The Classic is attached on the outside with their original tunnel attached to the other side to give them even more space to range when I am not at home. No more bending and twisting to get the glugs/grubs into the tunnel. Very sturdy and secure and not at all intrusive in my garden. Well done Omlet...keep up the good work.

a good quality product, previous one was very old and tattered so once again our chicken run looks smart and it's a great shelter from the rain and good shade from the sun for our last remaining chicken - Margaret Hatcher.

Purchased this to give the girls some shelter during the rain and this has been great. It fits neatly over the run and keeps chickens and food dry. There is condensation in the mornings which would prevent you from seeing the chickens if you were looking down at them, but this is a minor matter (just mentioning it as others have commented on it!). One great advantage for the chickens is that when a fly tries to fly up to escape, it can't and therefore becomes a tasty snack! After 2 months of use I did notice that one of the metal fixing circles is coming away from the plastic. Maybe I pulled it too tight so I have loosed it a bit and hopefully it will last. A good purchase, would recommend.
