Really pleased with the Eglu Cube. Easy to clean as stated, keeps the chickens secure from foxes and looks good too. Only slight criticism is that we have to be able to access both sides and would have liked to be able to site it alongside the fence. We've since purchased an additional metre run but haven't attached it yet cos we would either have to do it first thing in the morning when the chickens are in the cube or during the day when we can't secure them - next door's fence has a gap in it! Sure we will work something out.

Provides some shelter from the driving rain for the hens allowing them to feed a stay dry. Keeps that area of ground less muddy for a little longer. Sturdy in the high winds.

The cover does exactly the job it's meant for. It is easy to fit, too.

We were new to chicken keeping but had friends who had recommended the eglu to us. It arrived shortly before Xmas in about 5 large boxes. My husband and brother in law assembled it in a little over an hour with a beer in the other hand. And then they were up and running. It seems well constructed, the kids clean it out easily with a stiff rubber brush some water and elbow grease. We have it set up within a much bigger run area but I feel confident that when enclosed in the cube run nothing would get to the hens, including our lurcher! I really like the funky colours and actually surprisingly the bright green blends in with the flora and fauna. Lots of my friends have commented on it when they have seen it. Thank you, whilst it seemed a high price for a hen house it enabled us to get up and running very easily with limited DIY skills needed.

I think these new clear covers are great and so do the chooks. They're much brighter and my girls stay out much longer. They keep them dry and I bought two so they cover the sides to and are real protection from wind. Excellent product. Have bought for my classic too.

These bars seem a great improvement on the old wooden ones, and I'm hoping it will be far easier to eliminate mites in the warm weather as the cut ends of the wooden bars were the only places in the eglu that I used to find them.

This product is worth getting for periods of wet weather. However, due to its design you cannot use it to protect from wind down to chicken height and the higher side directs the run off into the run so there is still a big strip of wet.

We'll see how this one lasts but it seems much stronger and thicker material than the previous one, that was torn to shreds after a couple of years.

Yes, it keeps the run dry and makes it lighter than a solid cover but it is impossible to see through it from the outside. The eyelets midway down each side are pulling away from the plastic, though they are not under strain. The corner ones have more pull on them and yet they are holding fine.
