as expected and serve their purpose

The clips were difficult to use and the whole thing a bit fiddley but once done it looked good and works well.

These are great but should come with brush suitable for cleaning in between spaces!

...so easy to bring in on those dark evenings, top everything up then ready to go out in the morning.

Great product! Easy to clean and they have cute little egg patterns on them! Will make cleaning day so much easier and nowhere for dreaded bugs to hide!

The Omlet staff have all been very helpful, including the gentleman who built the Cube quickly in the gathering darkness of a December afternoon. I have since added a 1m extension to the run, which I managed quite easily. It is my first ever henhouse, so cannot comment on its relative merits, but it is certainly easy to clean (so far) and surprisingly warm at nights, although we have added a warming pad and replaced the roosting bars with thick straw as our ex-batts are not yet able to roost. We have six ex-batts, and although the Cube itself is spacious for them, I would not want to put more than six in the 3m run, even though it is advertised for ten. The ladder is unfortunately inappropriate for ex-batts and we have had to build a wooden ramp in its place. A bigger door into the run would also be a huge improvement - anyone lacking agility, or over about 5'5" tall has to crawl in, which can be unpleasant and limits the number of 'helpers' available. These two problems aside, I am very happy with the Cube and Omlet in general.

I have had my cube eglu (with 3 metre run) for a year now. Straight away my 4 hens started to lay and have continued to do so. I sadly cannot let my ladies out in the garden to roam free as my dog is waiting to eat them!! The cube is extremely easy to keep clean daily and every 2 months I take off a top layer of soil and re-bark the area as it gets very muddy and smelly (as I cannot move the eglu around my garden). The hens are nice and safe from Mr. Fox. On the down side I hate the size of the door into the coop. I find it hard to bond with the hens as I have to crawl in literally on my belly, also crawling through chicken poo is NOT NICE!! The cube is really quite drafty, and in the -10 degree weather and snow we have had recently, I am surprised they survived. The poo on the perches was frozen solid, so you can imagine how cold it must have been in there for them at night!! Overall great product, but the door needs re-sizing!!!

I recommend the plastic roosting bars (so much easier to clean) but wonder why they weren't provided when I bought the Eglu. The wooden ones fell apart quite quickly.

Let's start with the cube... I'm so glad we decided to go for the cube. Its certainly bigger than the normal Eglu, but then you're not going to have to replace it in six months when you want a few more chickens. The extended run makes this more than adequate for those who would ideally love to allow free range, but where location means its just not practical. But for me the reason why we gave this 5 star was really attriobutable to the customer service. Yes we were disappointed when one of the end skirts was missing, one of the metal catches was bent and one of the lid runners also needed replacing, but these items were despatched quickly and without any fuss. In summary... we're really impressed with the Eglu Cube, but just as impressed with the customer service when things go wrong. For me, this is when a company shows its true colours by their attitude to problem solving. Full marks for Omlet!

our chickens have a run under the trampoline. They have the eglu run front with door to get out and an eglu classic for sleeping/nestbox, and the under trampolin area is chicken wired. They have the old run winter cover as a tarpaulin slung under the trampoline. We initially used normal ground feeders but found when nearly empty they knocked them over. This new feeder means we can use the glug and grub and there is no spillage and they cant knock it over due to the weight of the water. It also fits in and out of the free ranger door. ideal for any chicken run
