This product is brilliant, I have disposed of all my wooden bars and can sterilise these with boiling water (Which I also do on the eglu)..chooks have never been so happy and clean!

Absolutely fantatic. Cleaning them is a 30 second blast with a hosepipe instead of a chore. Life enhancing.......and the chickens like them.

Brilliant! So easy to clean now.

This is the best thing for the hens .. easy to clean and refill. Also easy to carry =). Love it. And alsooo .. The hens dont get their dirty beaks in the water so it stays fresh and clean for aaaages! Perhappssss .. You could add more little drinking nipples on cos my hens all scram for it in the morning ..

We inherited our chooks from our daughter when she moved house. So this year we thought we would give the eglu a make over. We bought the bars plus run cover together as a set. They came before the date given for delivery and the girls loved them. They did give them a good inspection and went to bed early the first night . So I guess they gave them the thumbs up too.

These are great but if you need a new shade too you can get them both together for slightly less, see the chicken spares section.

I ordered these plastic bars so that I could keep my wooden ones as a spare set.They are excellent and far easier to clean and offer great value.

This is a MUST-HAVE upgrade if you have the old wooden bars. These fit better than the wooden ones and are sure to last possibly forever! So much easier to clean and I'm sure it will mean you could clean them less possibly. The wooden ones I was always unsure if red-mite could eventually appear so they always got a thorough scrub every week, but these have no gaps so are perfect.

I was worried my hens might be a little unsetted by the change to their Eglu, but they accepted the roosting bars and snuggled down for the night quite happily. So much more hygenic, really good edition to my Eglu!
