We had a coop door that was working but not bluetooth connected. We had t go to the coop panel to program. Love the app feature on the Omlet Door. Has worked perfectly for us. My only gripe is that it does not automatically switch from one source of power to another automatically. When we go away for extended periods, it would be perfect to know that if the electricity is interrupted that the batteries would take over to continue with auto opening and closing. Same for if it were left on battery power and they went dead that the electricity could take over. This would be our perfect world for piece of mind and ease of operation. We need that upgraded version now please! We have 9 beautiful hens.

I have been keeping chooks for over 12 years.... I wish I had of thought of something like this years ago... but I take it wasn't invented then! I have the auto door. Very easy to install. Very easy to operate.. Stops those late night treks to the hen house, the wet treks to the hen house. I can open the door earlier than what I would have without it. Chooks love it. When they hear it opening they run for the door! I also installed a cheap wifi outdoor camera which is awesome addition. I can make sure they are in for the night before closing. Great invention thankyou!!!

This door has eased my concern of safety and warmth for my hens when I’m not home in early enough to close the door. It also lets me sleep in on the weekends just a little bit longer!

Very rarely write reviews, but after three years, I am moved to say the auto door has been a life changer. After losing chickens to foxes three times, even with tight security, we tried the door. Fantastic. Easy fit and setup, no more fox worries, works flawlessly, no more having to lock them in/let them out when it's dark and raining, no worries going away - no downside whatsoever. And to top it off, after three years, the original, standard, batteries still have 30% life left! One of those purchases that is just perfect and we would never be without in the future. Fitted automatic door to my existing wood and mesh coop. Installation was straightforward. Chickens were using new door within 3 days Has been a very positive adjustment for me and the chickens: they get longer free range hours and it frees me up as well.

We got the eglu coop after ours was destroyed by a hurricane. The girls started re-laying right after they got into the eglu. That's good considering what they went through. But the only thing I gotta say is I wish the app would tell u if the door didn't open when it should of. Happend two times in under two weeks. With that being said. This thing is awsome!!!!
