The coop with 13 foot run was a great choice for our situation. We have four girls and it gives them more than enough room to chase each other around, fly, forage, play and relax. I feel very confident that they are completely safe from all predators and are warm and clean in the coop. The run works well on our uneven ground due to the amount of flexibility in the run skirt and we just screw down any gaps with the screws we purchased. The water and food feeders are large and well made. I can move the run by myself with a little effort. The girls will get a bit of a scare tomorrow morning being moved for for the first time to fresh grass :). Assemby was definitely work but my spouse and his daughter who is good at that kind of stuff got it together in a few hours with a couple of hiccups. The downsides? The ladder is adorable but completely useless for my chicks. They just end up flying in and out of the coop which was a bit traumatic for them the first few days. I suggest switching over to a long ramp with skids that they can waddle up and down instead. Another suggestion is using actual close up pictures in the instructions instead of the drawings for easier assembly. Overall we are very happy with the quality for the price!

Fantastic set up .Easy to clean and the Hens seem comfortable. The wheels to move the run are an added bonus. My only small gripe is that after you have spent the money on wheels you then need to purchase the handles to assist in moving the run. I just feel for the total cost of buying the most expensive set up the handles should come with the addition of the wheels Regards. Dan...

I love it and so do my hens, it’s easy to clean and keep clean

I had been looking at getting a new coop for a while. I had seen the Cube online, but wasn’t sure I could afford it. After my wooden coop got decimated by raccoons, I knew I had to have it. My hens all survived, but they needed protection and more space. When I saw one up close, I ordered mine the next day. It took me and a friend about 2 hours to put it tog, but when we finished it, we were amazed! The design and size are perfect for my 4 large hens. They love the space and the separate nesting area. They didn’t have that before. I feel confident about leaving the hens in the cube no matter the weather. It’s truly the best coop on the market!

My hens love their new home. So cosy and easy to keep clean. The autodoor keeps my hens safe once they go into the coop and lets them out each morning.

I've had this product for 3 weeks. It is very easy to clean, the hens seem happy, and the door between the roosting area and the nest box is perfect for preventing two of them sleeping (and pooing) in the nest area. Much better than our previous coop. Very happy with the product.

My two hens weren’t happy in their home built coop, so my lovely daughter shouted me the Omlet Eglu Cube. Unfortunately she didn’t stick around to help me put it together, it was left to poor Mum to do it by herself. It took me four mornings because by lunchtime it was in full sun and far too hot here in western NSW. I spent the afternoons in air-conditioned comfort getting the panels ready for the next morning. I knew I could do it, but another pair of hands would have been welcome. Anyway, it’s done and the hens are slowly getting used to their new home, but look longingly at the freedom they used to have roaming the whole garden!

This coop exceeds my expectations! Building was easy and actually enjoyable, especially compared to other coops I've built and it is very durable. Customer service was exceptional and very quick to respond.

The Eglu Cube is well designed for easy use and cleaning, although for first-timers it takes much longer to put together than suggested in the instructions. We got this to keep our six rescue chickens away from wild birds during the avian flu outbreak and they took to it straight away. The extended run was much smaller than they are used to, so it is now connected to a fully netted secure run, using the Eglu fencing and bird netting. Linking would have been easier if there was another way of opening the mesh around the Cube, but when things are back to normal it will stay inside the run and that won't be a problem. It all survived the storms, using all the guy ropes supplied for the fencing. The hens are doing a great job scarifying my dreadful lawn, which will be re-seeded in the spring. Squirrels have managed to break in, but the girls soon see them off.
