The cube is working out very well for the girls. Easy to clean and easy to move with the wheels. I use anchor stakes on the uneven ground. I would suggest some type of guard around the tires to prevent curious chickens from getting their little heads stuck in there.

We absolutely love our Eglu!! The chickens love it even more though! I was worried about the steps but they figured it out well, although they fly/jump in at half the time. Easier to put together than we expected, just a little time consuming, but that was expected. My only regret is not ordering the 4m run but we’re hoping to add the walk in run soon. I was on the fence about the wheels and soooo glad we got them. I can move the coop with 3m run by myself with no problems. Slide out tray and roost bars make clean up a breeze. We live in the woods with predator issues but they can’t get to the chicks and we sleep better knowing they’re safe and sound at night. Raccoons can reach in the run and knock the food off but can’t reach it or tunnel in despite trying. We put the food bowl in the nest box at night and close the door. Food and chicks are safe till morning. Extremely happy with our Eglu!!!

This week we have received our Cube and to say we’re made up with it is an understatement- I am so impressed with the build quality and the ease of access to all areas of the cube. We picked up our chickens last night and within minutes they looked right at home in their new Cube. They took to the drinker and feeder right away and even though it’s raining (!) this morning they look snug and cosy under the sheltered area of the run.

I'm so impressed by our Eglu Cube. It wasn't cheap but the build quality and design is superb. The most important feature to me is the hygienic, easy clean & wash nature of all the surfaces. I would never buy a wooden house again having struggled with mites which hid in all the joints and gaps of the boards. There is nowhere for the mites to hide on the Eglu and cleaning is quick and easy. I'm certain that there isn't a better house available for healthy hens. The house is also designed very well for ease of use. Every area is easy to access with panels and doors. The droppings can be cleaned away in seconds and the house can be moved with little effort because of its wheels. Our chickens have the look about them of someone who is staying at a 5 star hotel! Very happy with the cube. It's a breeze to keep clean. I'll purchase a second one for 6 new pullets that will join the 7 hens using the cube. The only negative is that the auto door attachment is not yet available.

I wrote a review (Eglu Rocks !) around May which details our Eglu remaining intact after a large black bear infiltration attempt. In addition to the Eglu resisting the assault, Omlet generously replaced the dented wire run area and door ! Thanks, Omlet, for making a wonderful coop and having attentive customer service to match. Our family raves about the Eglu (for strength/durability, low maintenance, kid-friendly, etc.) whenever others are contemplating getting a chicken coop. Superior experience all around !

Eglu Cube is an extremely well thought out chicken house for our 2 beautiful chickens. Audrey Henburn and Yolko Ono have settled in very well. We move it every 3-4 days. It did take an afternoon to put together as we were unsure what we were doing but once we recognised all the bits and what they did another one would be a breeze.. The only thing we’ve noticed is the eyelets on the canopy are starting to rust already. Were extremely happy with our purchase.

The Eglu Cube is a great investment. I have 5 chicks and this was a perfect size for them. I feel very at ease knowing they are safe from predators but also seem happy in their home as well. Only downside was the assembly took 5 hours and that was with 3 people doing it! But it was worth it in long run. Great product, attractive too. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love it, am very happy to recommended it to my family. From the smallest (grandchildren) to the oldest love our Eglu. So easy to keep chickens safe, get lovely fresh eggs. And keep there little home clean. Thank you Omlet.

I recently bought this Omlet Eglu Cube with the 3 meter run with wheels and this is definitely a well thought out chicken coop! My wife and I saw this on display at a local pet expo and thought it would be great way to keep chickens humanely in our backyard. I really love how you can close off the roosting area from the nesting box area, you can close and lock the door to the run when the chickens go to bed at night in the roosting area, and you can easily access the nesting box from outside. The best part is probably the removable poop tray and roosting bars. Based on the looks of it, my chickens tend to poop more when they’re sleeping then when in the run. But thanks to how this coop is configured, when the chickens leave the roosting area for the run in the morning I can easily hose off and clean the poop tray and roosting bars. I have the Eglu Cube coop with the 3m run and although it is rated for 10 hens I have only 7 in my coop and they seem to have plenty of room to run around in the run area. Chickens don’t all lay their eggs at the same time so even if you have more chickens than can all fit in the nesting box at the same time, they’ll figure it out amongst themselves on the time of when to lay. The water and food trays that are included are easily moveable for cleaning and refilling - though the water tray gets constantly dirty due to the large open top design. The coop also comes with two doors (top and bottom) - my only gripe with this coop is the manner in which the doors are attached, which is via plastic clips that I wonder how long they’ll last for, but they can also be easily replaced, and how the doors secure which is via a thin metal rod. It definitely works, but for the price of this coop I’d expect something a little more robust. Also, for the price of the coop, it came with zip ties to secure panels together, which is is just a little disappointing... I’m pretty big (6’5”, 275 lbs) and I am able to crawl into the coop if I need to get my chickens - it isnt super easy or comfortable, but it’s doable. And I’d imagine if you’re smaller than me it’d be a whole lot easier. I am fairly handy and while this was relatively easy to assemble, it did take me longer than the suggested 3 hours to assemble by myself. All in all, this an expensive chicken coop, but it feels like it’ll last a lifetime and it very easy to clean (which was important for me) and this is a mobile/moveable chicken coop (which may be important depending upon your municipal code). I’m super glad I went with this coop and love going out to my coop to watch my chickens everyday.
