Sturdy and secure
Miriam, Tennessee,
I assembled this all by myself - yes, it would have gone much quicker with two people, but one person can do it. The trickiest part was figuring out which clips go where, and since my terrain isn't perfectly flat, I added more zip ties for additional security. The yard is much sturdier than I anticipated - this is a simple way to give your chickens a comfortable place to wander. I've ordered a swing and perch for added fun!

Sturdy structure and looks good
Oliver,
We can't free-range our chickens very easily as there are a lot a foxes about, so this product has been great in giving the birds a bit more room and allowing us to walk in with them. Construction took two of us a few hours, but it wasn't too difficult once we got going with it.

The height and double-doors are AMAZING!
Kristen, Connecticut,
I love love love the height and double-doors of this run. I won't lie, I didn't love putting it together (not because it was hard, just time-consuming), but if you just focus on one step at a time, you'll be done before you know it. The chickens love it too; we do allow them to free-range, but we leave the bottom door open so they can come and go as they please, which they do!

Excellent Addition
Mike,
This was easy to assemble (one of the few instruction videos online that was easy to follow), and it is a great addition to our coop with nine-foot run. It is so much easier to walk into the run to clean it. I highly recommend it!

Secure attractive chicken run
Sheryl, Ohio,
I am very happy with the purchase. The 6x6x6 came in 5 or 6 smaller packages that I could easily manage. Two of us put the run together in a few hours. The run is sturdy and attractive.

Sturdy, simple, reliable enclosure
Chris, Florida,
So there are a lot of clips to snap into place for this, but once that was done this thing requires very little maintenance. The mesh is strong - strong enough to hang things that are a few pounds a piece, like feeders and waterers. Attaching tarps for shade and protection from the rain is dead simple and they hold fast. The doors and latches are simple to operate and stay closed when you close them. The skirt around the bottom has been sufficient enough to deter any predators in our neighborhood. The wider spacing of the mesh on the top half of the enclosure means mice and small rats can get into the coop, but other than stealing some food they weren't a menace. We dealt with them with some traps and they haven't come back since, but if the problem persisted it would have been easy to strap some hardware cloth or chicken wire to the outside of the run to make it harder for them to get in. I do recommend installing some concrete blocks under the posts - we found that after about 6 months of the chickens scratching away at the edges of the run the posts started to sag down and kept having to be pushed back up and repack the dirt underneath. With the cinder blocks installed underneath them this problem goes away completely, and it would have been much easier to do before the run was assembled and in place.

Gives chickens much more freedom than the Eglu alone
Clare,
I bought in to the Omlet system because my friend has a Mk2 with a 2 metre run which I like. But she has 2 chickens and I wanted to keep 4 so I wanted more room. The 2x2x2 has turned out to add much more than just floor space however. I've put in 2 perches at different heights, and my birds fly around from one to the other. Also the stable doorway makes safe access very easy. I can re-fill water and food by leaning over the bottom stable door. And I can also from outside easily refill feeding trays that I hang from the ceiling. My girls are very happy.

Good, secure run for daytime, reasonable space for 4 large hens.
Carol,
Not only provides a lot more space than Eglu Cube + 2x1m run, but I love sitting in there with them, especially when they fall asleep on my outstretched legs or on the perch next to me while I sing to them! I let them out into the garden for at least a couple of hours each day for more exercise and interest and to peck at grass and scratch around as it wouldn't be big enough for them to be stuck in all the time. As it's so secure I don't worry too much about foxes if I'm out in the evening and don't get back till dark to shut them in the coop. Obviously it's not moveable like the Cube + 2x1m run, and they'd scratched all the vegetation away in a week. Now a mud bath in wet weather so will probably order rain cover too. Reasonably easy to put up. Probably doesn't need to be quite as high.

Excellent
Graham, Cheshire,
We have a Mark 1 egloo for our chickens with 1m extension. It was fine but wanted to give the chickens more room so put netting up in a larger area for the to run around in during the day. The problem was that we had to go and open up every morning and lock up in the evening. Whilst not too bad for us when we went away it was a pain for our neighbours who were looking after the chickens. So we invested in the 2m walk in run and its been fantastic. The chickens can now come out on their own during the day without us having to open and close up. Excellent for the neighbours. I have put wooden planks around the edge and filled with wood chips which look great and make it so much cleaner. Overall I would recommend this to anyone.
