The screw pegs are excellent. My land is very uneven and these pegs keep the run and run extension tight to the ground. the drill attachment is a super tool making moving the cube and run an easy job. Well worth the money as they are much better than tent pegs etc.

Pondered for a long time about the cost of the Cube but as I am a total novice hen keeper I decided to try and make my life easier and have the best. The cube is soooo easy to clean and very quick to do. I can imagine a yukky mess with a wooden house so I am pleased I made this choice. I have had problems with the ladder or should I say the hens have and I do think the ladder treads are spaced too far apart. My husband had to make a rustic wooden ladder for them and almost a hand rail so they could get in and out! My only other thought is the nesting box may be a little small. I have six hens and for some strange reason they all like to sleep in the nesting box one on top of the other, this was manageable when they were very young but now they have grown the last one or two end up looking in sorrowfully from the roosting side (have a bought retarded chickens?). My land is not level and the cube sits very well and the run also absorbs the angles, I have put the screw pegs on the edge which are essential for my situation. (the drill adaptor that comes with them is brilliant and makes the job easy) I am very pleased with my Omlet cube and although it is a large outlay initially I imagine it will last indefinitely with virtually no maintenance, as my Mother says 'you buy cheap you buy twice'!

Good quality and easy to attach to the existing run. Giving chickens that little extra space. Great idea with the ant tunnel skirt edging means I can sleep easy knowing Mr Fox and Mr Badger have to go elsewhere!

Fantastic for 2 large chickens. Easy to clean and the wheels make it great to just keep moving around the yard. Chickens are very happy and comfortable. Customer service is also fantastic.

Putting my hens on wheels meant I also had to convert my Go to being an Up, and I also decided to get the run extension for the full benefit. All of this was a major investment. Putting my Eglu Go Up on wheels has made moving my hens much easier once I worked out how to use it all, and has saved straining my back. Even with the run extension it is easily manageable. My one criticism is that the foot pedals would be more useable if they were a few centimetres longer as my feet slip off the end too easily due to the short length. As it is I often have to use my hands rather than my feet when I unhook the pedals (be careful not to trap your fingers!). Also the plastic end caps do slip off gradually which can damage them, be sure to check and push them back on or else they will wear out (are replacements available from Omlet?). Nevertheless I am glad I invested in the wheels. As for using the ladder, the hens worked it out within a day (clever girls).

Our order for the Eglu Cube Chicken Coop was despatched by Omlet according to our order. The courier company confused us by delivering the six packages over two days. The assembly instructions and guide are quite straight forward. We took our time in assembling the whole thing. We had a few minor issues and some customer feedback to give. We spoke to Lucy and Helen at Omlet Customers Services who could not have been more helpful. The minor issues where dealt with immediately and they were grateful for our customer queries and feedback. Our chickens are happily housed in their new home and seem very content. We are thrilled with our Eglu Go in purple!!! A friend had one in England when we visited and we badly wanted to bring one home with us, but we didnt have the room! It was great to find a supplier here in Oz! With two little boys it is easy to keep clean and makes keeping chickens fun!!!! Thank you for bringing these wonderful coops to Australia!

We've had our Egly Go for about three months now. I really like it! Initially it was a bit of a faff to put together but since then we've had no problems. It's a decent size for the chickens if they need to be locked in (though usually given the run of the garden), and the plastic is really easy to keep clean; being able to remove the bottom tray from the coop is great. Unfortunately we've found out the hard way that we do have foxes here, but when the gate on the run and the door to the coop are shut at night we've had no problems. Finally, the cost is good - unusual to have something available cheaper in Australia than the UK!

Buying this was probably the best decision we've made. We got a Go, and the run was just too small for us to be happy leaving our hens in there all day whilst at work. We got ours whilst on offer, so £199 was the cost and we couldn't be happier. Double the space, plus extra height means our birds seem much happier. We've been able to add perches and a dust bath. We just got the low rise, but I can crouch down and get in easily if required, and it's so much more convenient than the runs supplied with the Go. Expensive yes, but it'll last for ages and you won't regret it.

I first saw the Omlet range of chicken coops years ago in the UK and was so excited when they became available in Australia this year. It's a fabulous product - in the past we'd had a galvanised iron chicken coop that was difficult to clean and not well designed. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the Eglu and it makes keeping chickens a lot easier and more accessible for suburban poultry fans. I have the Eglu Go with the optional Up attachment, and I have the whole lot surrounded by the chicken fence with the gate option. It easily accommodates 5 bantam chickens (Lotus, Luis, Fluffy, Captain & Tenille) and they worked out how to navigate the ladder without much drama (although Lotus needed a bit of a push from Luis to take the first step). It's easy for the kids to open the back and check for eggs, and to top up the feeders. It's a great product and all of the additional options provide you with lots of flexibility to design a chicken run that suits your garden.
