Got it, assembled it, accepted the defaults. Installed in 2 hours (wooden coop had 2X4 backing that had to be counter bored . . . should have used the surface mounting hardware - phase 2). Love it - being able to monitor from phone is fantastic. Well engineered (I am an engineer with 40+ years of experience). Well done!!!

A simple little light that makes all the difference. It's a great way of being able to look out of our kitchen window and know that the hens have a guiding light home. It's also nice to be able to count them as they walk in to make sure they're all present and correct!

Here’s a polished review that still sounds personal and genuine: I have owned my Omlet automatic chicken door for five years, and it has given me so much peace of mind knowing my chickens are safely locked up every night. When I moved my coop, I started getting a “faulty wiring” message on the control panel. I assumed I’d have to replace the entire door, and after comparing other brands, I still felt the Omlet door was the best. Unfortunately, buying a whole new door just wasn’t in my budget. Then I discovered that Omlet sells replacement wiring. I ordered it, installed it, and my door is working just as perfectly as it did when it was new. I was so relieved! Instead of replacing an expensive product, I only needed an affordable part. The door may have only come with a two year warranty, but mine is still going strong after five years with just one wire replacement. It has more than paid for itself, and I really appreciate that Omlet offers replacement parts instead of forcing customers to buy an entirely new unit. If you’re on the fence about buying an Omlet door, I can honestly say mine has been one of the best investments I’ve made for my flock.

Installed this in my coop and it works very well. Made my own wood frame after cutting the proper sized opening. Very happy with how easy the app is to adjust the open / close times. I recommend this product

Works great, just what I needed. Would be amazing if I could buy a solar panel so I do not have to change the batteries.

We’re very happy with the autodoor control panel. It works well and we were able to leave overnight without a worry for the chickens. The one thing it would improve it is a solar powered version.

I already had an Eglu coop with auto door and more recently an auto smart feeder as the girls were shouting for food as soon as they left the coop. I then purchased an auto door and attachment for the cage/run. What a game changer this has been. It was so easy to fit and the girls quickly cottoned on. So now the girls are fed and out grazing while I can enjoy my cup of tea in bed!

We ended up changing the design of our coop to an open concept therefore not needing the door. The process of returning the door was fantastic. If the products are as good as the customer service, this is a very solid company.

I've always admired the omlet products after seeing a friends rabbit house for her daughter. We decided to get a couple of chickens again after a long break so went for the omlet cube. I'm eased to say that we are not disappointed. Solid built, ease of cleaning is a dream. We ha e 4 large hens and did add a meter extension to the run because we didn't feel they had quite enough room, and the whole set up is now perfect. We move it around the garden every 3 days so patches of grass can recover and have a cover over half the run so in the rain the ground doesnt get soaked. They are expensive, however the build quality is excellent and replacement parts seem to still be available for older models so they are destined to be around for a long time. The fact that second preloved units being sold still fetch a high price says it all. We're thrilled with the while set up and our girls seem very happy.
