The Cube is BRILL!! Sooo easy to clean - only takes 10 mins - if that! I lined the trays with newspaper, so it just needed lifting out, a quick spay and wipe over, more paper back in, and slot back in place. The plastic bars are also really easy to clean. It looks nice, and with two people it can be moved easily. Very sturdy and good quality - the girls love it, and started laying just 2 days after it arrived!!

Very well made: all the bits and fittings were convincingly strong and look like they will last! A bit hard to put together, but the husband took pity and finally lent a hand. My breeding pair are thrilled with their new and exclusive bijou res.

My third green eglu cube arrived five days ahead of expected delivery, courtesy of a very nice driver (who was delighted to accept half a dozen of our girls' eggs by way of a 'thank you'). Our cube went together without a hitch and now sits proudly alongside the other two and, once again, we're thrilled with it. The girls were a little confused initially, but are getting used to the idea of three choices of luxury accommodation with en suite beds to choose from at night! These are absolutely stunning designed chook homes and I would strongly recommend them to anyone wishing to keep domestic, garden chooks. They are so easy to keep clean and perfectly designed for bird and owner. I know that when my girls go to bed at night they are safe and comfy and, having heard and read about so many horror stories from other chicken owners about losing their ladies to the fox, weasel, dog and the constant battle against redmite infestation, lice and other nasties, I can honestly say that my girls are free of all the horrors that can come with wooden chicken houses. Thank you Omlet, once again.

We are absolutely delighted with our purchase of the Eglu. From the order to the delivery everything was first class. We are also so pleased with the safety aspect for our chickens which was of major concern given our semi-rural location. Both ourselves and the chickens have a very good night sleep. Many thanks.

A simple design that is practical and easy to use. The chickens seem happy and are fascinating to watch. Cleaning is made easy by the clever way that the cube comes apart. Feeders and water dispenser are designed to fit onto the run and again are simple to maintain. In summary, very pleased with our purchase especially the egges which have started coming daily now the hens have been here a week!

I was very pleased with the cube and so were my newly acquired ex-battery hens. They worked out straight away (somehow !!) where to find their provisions, where to sleep and where to lay but were a bit unsure of the ladder. They plucked up courage to try it after a couple of days but now (after a week) they ignore it altogether preferring to just jump in and out. My husband did have to make a couple of minor alterations during assembly to create a perfect fit for all the parts. Thanks!

Our cube was assembled by a chap called George, who was friendly, informative and most efficient. He was able to offer helpful hints and tips regarding the care of our hens. We had a couple of problems, those being a small tear in the canopy and the coating on the door pegs, but both where replaced within days - thank you. The only thing that I would liked to have changed was the 'hand' of the door to the run. It would have been useful if this was interchangeable or a hand could have been specified at time of order?

Great idea but could do with some refinements! Very tiny door to run makes it virtually impossible to encourage chickens up the ladder for the first few nights and/or to reach additional food and water containers in run (mine don't like the Grub and Glug). Not possible to put cube and run against a wall or fence for added rain/wind protection (or just for convenience in a smaller garden) as you need access to the rear to remove trays to clean, access to one side to get to nesting box, the opposite side for the handle to close the cube door and the front for the chickens to get in and out of the run. Would be much better if the handle for the sliding door was the same side as nesting box and door to the run was placed at the rear, under the cube. It is such a tiny door it would easily fit. Have just ordered the wind/winter shades to add some protection but the wind shade only fits one panel beneath the cube (not all three) and the winter one covers top and one side. Would like to see a waterproof cover added that at least covers the area underneath the cube, to rear and both sides, to provide protection on those days when it just doesn't stop raining.
