I'm delighted with my Eglu Go and definitely made the right decision to buy it. The main reason is that it is so easy to keep clean - just tip the mess onto the compost heap and hose it off under the outside tap. It takes two minutes to get it perfectly clean.

Chickens love it, I love it - our new Eglu has cut down the amount of work it takes to keep the girls clean and healthy significantly... and it looks pretty cool too!

Bought the Eglu for 3 chicks which we hatched out from eggs at our school. They are now 9 weeks old and are very happy in it. It's easy to clean and we have been able to take it apart and take the chicks home at weekends.

Hello. I have quite a few Eglu's (different colours) which I use to house chickens that are for sale. Every single time I put POL hens into the Eglu, they always lay earlier than the ones (the same age) in the wooden coops. Sometimes the Eglu gang can lay as much as 2 weeks earlier! I also have fewer problems with hen pecking, and illness. The coops are easy to clean thoroughly, although the do look messier than the wooden coops, and it is harder to poo pick, it only takes 10 minutes to give them a really good clean, the girls don't even notice I'm doing it, as I just shut the door, and leave them secure in the run part. We have had a few fox visits in the last couple of weeks, and everyone in the wooden coops has been lost (thankfully it was not as many as we usually have) but although we saw paw prints on and around the Eglus, and a couple of marks on the bars, the only damage that was done to the Eglus was that one hook had been torn off the elastic holding the cover on. Poor foxy probably thought he'd hit gold when it came of, only to discover the bars underneath! So although they are more expensive than the wooden ones, it is all we will be using from now on! Acquired Eglu Go 2 weeks ago and from the day after assembling and putting the 2 Ginger Nut Rangers and the Speckledie in their new home we have been getting 2 to 3 eggs a day. Already thinking about buying the Cube!. Only hiccup was that the box did not contain the instruction leaflet for assembly or the caring for chicken booklet, this was soon remedied.

I started with a traditional coop. I have a small backyard and it took up most of it. Plus it was hard to clean and not completely predator proof. The Omlet is the BEST!!! Easy to assembly and super easy to clean. It is completely predator proof as well. The run also comes on and off easily. Absolutely, hands down, love this product and would, without hesitation, recommend it.

As we live in a fairly exposed part of the Isle of Man (top of a hill with practically a 360 degree sea view) my biggest concern was how the Eglu would stand up to the extremely high winds we get from time to time. I need not have worried! A week or so we had a storm with winds gusting up to 60 mph - so strong that the garden store containing all the feed etc blew right across the garden. But through it all the Eglu did not budge an inch! It is also of sturdy construction. It was not long before we were visited by Mr R.A.T. who attempted to tunnel under the Eglu at the back. He had obviously tried to nibble his way in but could make no headway at all. So all in all I am totally delighted with my Eglu and secure in the knowledge that, whatever the weather up here, my girls are safe and sound!

I really like the Eglu Go but the nest is too shallow so nesting stuff is lost. Perhaps you could sell/give a ring or something to deepen the nest

I have recently brought an eglu go, i have been keeping chickens for about 4 years now and have had different styles of wooden houses and even a pvc! I wished i had done my home work years ago and brought an eglu go , it is so much easier to clean, i love the back door, it gives so much access and a doddle to clean. My girls dont seem to be a fan of the feeder, although this is not a big deal as they have an emperor feeder in their 4metre by 3 metre enclosure. If i add up the cost of the money i have spent on previous houses i could have 4 eglus in my garden! That would be one or each girl! Never mind i got there in the end ........ I love my eglu.
