Fitted a Smart model to our Omlet Cube MK1. This is running well WiFi reception is surprisingly at bottom of garden. A couple of nice to haves on door would be light sensitive shutting but timed opening, or even a clever link to sun rise and sun set data via app 😁Fitting to the MK1 was an easy task but would be handy if Omlet had a video of how to install to a MK1 . The cabling was very neat, running it to mesh and then inside front roof gutter so protected and roof can be easily slide onto mesh for cleaning. A placed a small piece of cable tidy over the cable by the door for protection from any inquisitive pecky chickens.

I love the automatic door. I don’t have to worry about going on vacation, waking up in the morning or closing in hens at night. It’s a dream come true. And I LOVE that I can control the door from an app on my phone! So easy, simple and efficient.

So far I am very pleased. I purchased my auto door for my Carolina coop and we installed it on the hardware cloth. Super easy to install.

This thing is awesome makes taking care of our hens soo easy! The biggest issues I’ve noticed with this is that if a hen is in the way of the door that is trying to open, it will close with them all in still. I occasionally have to go out and manually open to door because of this. You have to clean the poop off of the tracks sometimes because this door opens horizontally rather than vertical. If we park the tractor too close to our safety light outside the door closes before the chickens realize it’s nighttime. These are not problems that are too big or annoying for the extreme benefits we get 98% of the time with this.

The door and control panel are excellent and high quality. The packaging and instructions are great too. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the night light customizable instead of the 5 minute timer. When training baby chicks to go in the coop at night, more flexibility would help.

Works brilliantly, the frame helped to fit the door to our run and the chickens only took a day to find it.

After some thought on how to fix the auto door to the Cube Mk1 I spent some time wondering how especially the top fixing as the picture instructions didn't really help, got there in the end and really pleased with the whole kit. Working well so decided to add the coop light which was really easy just plug and play.

Perfect piece of equipment. Lights up 5 minutes before the auto door closes. Coupled with the WiFi app - I can turn the light on and off when I need to. Well chuffed!!

Purchased the bracket for the auto door control panel. Simple design, works like a charm and looks great on the side of my Cube.
