Great little coop
Brought this as a “chicken hospital/jail” for when we needed to separate out a sick or misbehaving chicken. It’s attached to the run so they can see their friends but still be safely apart. Perfect for what we needed. Just needs an auto door to take it to 5 stars

Go Up - the ideal small flock mobile solution
I have used our Go Up for several small groups of chickens from 2 to 4 and it serves very well, its not the easiest construction but one built it is light enough and small enough to be moved around the garden as required.
As we have other Eglu Coops, ours now serves as a temporary hospital or isolation space but for small flocks this would be perfect.
Only slight drawback is the inability to fit the autodoor

Good customer service!
The directions for putting together could be a little better ordered! When we got so far along then we had to go back to put the brackets on the ground and attach! Would have been easier a step or two back!

Chickens love the portability
We bought an extended run because of the chickens having to be incarcerated but they seem to benefit from the fact the run can be easily moved around so they have a fresh bit of garden to explore and peck at every few days - also better for the lawn. However, we had hoped the run would be relatively rat-proof but they can get through the wire mesh.

Great Product but expensive and not built for the Australian climate
Finished building my Eglu Cube with 4m run a few days before Christmas, along with the Omlet Autodoor. My three chickens took to it immediately and no problems with the ladder and roosting. I only needed to keep them locked in the run for 2 days as they learnt quickly where to roost and where to lay the eggs. After spending a few weeks with the product, these are the Pros and Cons as I see them (bearing in mind I live in Northern Australia where it's very hot and very humid in the summer and fairly mild in the winter).
PROS:
*Plastic product, so reduces the risk of large mite infestations
*Easy to clean - takes all of 5 minutes
*Limited ongoing maintenance - wood rots very quickly in wet Australian summers, even if it's been coated
*Fairly easy to put together with the instruction manual and youtube video, just a little tedious
*Can move the coop fairly easily around the garden if necessary. A big positive for me as I can easily wheel into the garage if a cyclone is threatening
*Materials seem fairly sturdy, so should hold up well
*Fairly predator proof. Although foxes aren't really an issue in my area, they are a big issues in other parts of Australia and the skirting should help keep them out. Main predator in my area would be sizeable pythons.
*The Autodoor works a treat and takes a matter of minutes to install. I also got the coop light which comes in handy as it helps the chickens find their roosting spot and settle in for the night as well as checking on the girls at night if needed.
*Girls seem to be very happy with their new coop as they weren't really enjoying roosting in their old wooden coop, preferring to roost on the roof (although I couldn't see any evidence of mites).
CONS:
*Omlet being a UK company, the coop is probably built moreso for UK conditions rather than the summers we experience here in Australia. Omlet claim the coop stays cool in summer, but I imagine it's been tested in a British summer. I have found the coop to be too hot, so have removed the back panel and fitted my own mesh panel with flyscreen attached to allow for much more breeze to blow through and ventilate the coop. It should be enough to keep the snakes out, but if you lived in a fox prone area my quick and dirty mesh panel won't do the job. The chickens are still panting after this alteration, however it's better than it was. I will reinstall the back panel in the winter when temperatures are more comfortable.
*The plastic clips supplied to put the run together won't last a terribly long time in ongoing Australian summers. I suspect they will turn brittle and snap, so would recommend getting some mesh clips to install along with the plastic clips so if the clips snap when trying to move the coop, you won't have the whole run falling apart.
*Omlet claim up to 6 large chicken or 10 bantam chickens. This would be a bit of a stretch for Australian climate as chickens prefer a little more space between them during summer as it's too hot to cuddled up together. I wouldn't be having more than 4 medium to large chickens if you want them to remain somewhat comfortable on a hot summer night.
*Expensive. The coop isn't cheap and is somewhat overpriced despite it being a great product. With the Cube, 4m run and Autodoor it amounted to $2026.15 including a $300+ delivery fee. Is it worth paying all that money? Well, that would be up to the individual. For me, it's probably worth it in the time saved with ongoing maintenance, cleaning and replacement of wooden coops. I would say it's probably a couple of hundred dollars overpriced, though.
All in all I am happy with my purchase, however if you live in a climate with very hot summers, then you may need to make some alterations as despite making my own alterations, the chickens are still panting at night (which is basically unavoidable in Aussie summers regardless).

Nice coop for small chickens
I was downsizing my flock and chicken coop so decided to go for an Eglu go up. Positives are it is super easy to move around and clean, also with it being raised off the ground the chickens can sit below for some shelter. It also looks good and should last for a long time. A great extra that a feeder, water trough and some egg boxes come included. Only negative I have is that there are no true roosting bars for them to properly perch on.

Omlet response:
Hi Danielle,
Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We are glad to read your overall satisfaction about your coop. We would like to bring you some reassurance about our roosting bars.
The roosting bars provided in the coop are specially designed with a structured surface and rounded corners where the chickens will sleep comfortably at night.
Although they don’t look like traditional wooden perches, roosting bars are great for larger breeds who find it tricky to jump up to a raised perch, or recently rescued hens who don’t have the strength to flap, and the shape of the bars makes sure most of the droppings fall straight onto the slide out, easy clean tray underneath.
We stay at your disposal if you have any further questions.

cleaning of urine marks
i clean my Eglu go up once a week with brush and water, but still have white marks (urine?) which don't want to go. Any advise what to clean it with, so those white/gray marks go?

Omlet response:
Hi Eva,
Thank you for your message.
We would recommend you to use white distilled vinegar ; pour it into a spray bottle without watering it down. Spray the vinegar onto the moldy surface and leave it to sit for an hour. Finally, wipe the area clean with water and allow the surface to dry. Any smell from the vinegar should clear within a few hours.
We would not recommend to use bleach.

Works well
I have an Omlet Eglu and run so am familiar with the product. I would have preferred that the Go UP run panels to not have been in so many pieces. It makes the run less stable than the regular Omlet run.

Eglu Go Up
So my rescue babies love this set up, easy to move and clean, looks good in the garden, only down side for me is having to twist to put the feeder and drinker in each morning, doesn’t feel good if you have any back issues. I think it’s just the way you have to hook the feeder onto the sloping bars, there’s no easy way of doing it, otherwise I cannot fault it.
